This is a great 2004 from Carbonnieux. A lovely sweet vanillary nose with redcurrant and cherry fruit. Very bright and lively. The palate is elegant with fine tannins. Harmonious with a nice minerally core. Smooth and sensuous texture, yet underneath all that fruit is that Pessac earthiness. Excellent. Tasted April 2005.
