A typically sweet vanillary nose. Touch iodine. Very pure and modern in style. The palate had great concentration with ripe blackberry and chewy tannins. Great poise. Tannic on the finish, but it maintains freshness from start to finish. Another great Poyferre by Didier Cuvelier. Tasted April 2005.
