Tasted at JP Moueix. The Providence 2010 has a very pure bouquet with macerated black cherries, blueberry, truffle and a touch of smoke. Good lift and precision here. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe, sensual tannins, good cohesion and poise here with fine mineralite showing through. At the moment this is showing a tad more tension and vibrancy than the Latour-a-Pomerol, with a very precise finish that bodes well for the future. Excellent. Tasted April 2011.
